Thanks for all of your responses. I have been thinking so much about this, and I really hope that i am doing the right thing by keeping this from the father. When I told him that I was pregnant, we both agreed we should have an abortion, but then when i told him I wanted to keep it, and that I would NEVER bother him again about child support or anything, he flipped out!! He called me every four letter cuss word, totally disrespected me, then he hung up on me, saying that I was tying up his line. When I called him back, he said he wouldn't want anyone else raising his kid, not even me, just because he is VERY possessive. Second, he is a a tattoo artist for a living, and all he does with his free time is smoke weed and surf and hang out with his new girlfriend. He even told me he is 100% not ready to have a child. He is just selfish and possessive. Since he thinks I had an abortion, there will be no way and no reason for him to find out I went through with the pregnancy since I never see him, he doesn't know where I live, and he lives 50 miles away. All he cares about is that the baby is "gone." He hasn't even bothered to call me. He really is a very big jerk, and my baby would not be in the right place with him. I want to give this baby a real family with REAL love.
