Sounds like you have a tough one on your hands. Just remember that five months old is a very frustrating age. They can't crawl and have just become interested in toys. Maybe your baby is just in need of locomotion. I called mine the 'motion queen' for months because she loved to be on the move--be it the car, the stroller, or dancing. When mine would scream, it was usually because she needed sleep, how often does your little one sleep? I wish you much luck.
