Hi Carla, Just wanted to let you know that my 5 month old son sometimes goes through similar episodes. He had a very bad case of colic for the first 3 months of his life and my husband and I did EVERYTHING to console him. Let me tell you our life was hell back then.

Thank goodness those days are over. Now my main problem is to occupy him during the day. Sometimes he gets so crabby and it doesn't matter what I try with him, he cries so I just lay him down for a nap. I no longer rock him to sleep. He will always cry for about 5 or 10 min and then fall asleep. Sometimes I feel like pulling my hair out and will say things like "I can't wait till you go to bed!", just to get some peace and quiet. My husband gets mad at me for saying those things. Usally I will put him in his swing for awhile, then I try the playpen, then the exersaucer, then my lap or read him a story or I will take him for a walk in our condo complex if it is too cold outside. After trying everything, I either feed him or put him down for a nap.
