I just wanted to tell you my two oldest son's experience with rashes. I don't know if it will help but it may. Both boys were getting these awful rashes that wouldn't go away and got progressively worse regardless of what I tried. One of my sons even had big blister like sores as well on more than one occassion. We used zincofax and penetin etc but it only made things worse or did not help at all. It ended up that they were allergic to the zinc in the cream. I had used the cream all along to prevent rash and yet caused it due to the allergy. I stopped using it and the boys cleared after I began using a mixture of vaseline and cornstarch that I mixed myself. The vaseline protects the rash from moisture and the cornstarch draws everything out. Lori K

Now we also discovered that they were allergic to Huggies diapers (hence the blister like sores). All my 4 boys were. It is something in the jelly that absorbs the urine. It caused a burn type rash. We switched to another brand and they were fine.
I don't know everything you have tried but there was a bit more to consider. He may be allergic to Zinc or his diaper. He may even be allergic to cortisone creams. It is unlikely that it is due to yeast although it may be. I would try the cornstarch dry or if you are worried about moisture make a paste with vaseline and cornstarch. You won't know if you don't try. Take care and I hope he gets better soon. I know how awful it is to see them sore with diaper rash.
