My husband loved to feed Alex and right after his birth I was very depressed and felt very anxious about the whole "mom" role. I also had a very difficult labour and was recovering from an emerg. c-sec., it was really nice to have family help out and I even stayed a night or two with my mom to recover, while my husband had our son all to himself and got to bond with him one on one.
