: Thomas is just a week off 6 months old, and I was wondering about when to introduce finger foods, as I hear that it should be from about 6 months. I give him a rusk sometimes but keep a very close eye on him when eating it and was looking for suggestions of other foods, and whether you think 6 months is too early. He's just got his first high chair which he loves, as he likes to sit at the table with us. : : Sounds like our Thomas' could be twins! His birthday was July 25th 2002. He eats like a horse, and gets SO mad when we won't share our big people food. So far he eats toast w/butter, very soft mashed carrots, crackers, baby cookies, and I'll probably try Cheerio's and egg yolks in a few weeks. Lots of baby food still. Have fun and enjoy the mess.
