My opinion on the rash between the cheeks is two fold. 1. The feces or urine is highly acidic, which happens mainly from food allergies (ie my Ryan is lactose intolerant so this happens to him if he even eats a cheesie). 2. Whatever that gel is in the diaper breaks down into smaller particles which escapes the material barrier and leaks through onto the baby. (I have seen the gel on my sons. It is kind of like silica gel but wet like-little beads of gel). Then the gel is free to travel where it may. I think diaper companies should have to print what fibers they are using specifically because of reactions like this. Lori
