: So it's not yeast... and it could be a reaction to the stuff in the diapers you use... or maybe food he's eating. : To rule out diapers, try using only cloth diapers for a couple of days. Yes - you will have to change more frequently. And YES - You will have some really ponderous messes on your hands. But hey, it's all in the name of the "scientific" experiments, right? : Maybe it's worth a try? His rash is looking a lot better since using the new cream and cornstarch on top. Also, I am letting him take one nap a day without a diaper and letting him have play time (about an hour) without a diaper. It can get messy, but I'll do anything to make him feel better and help his rash heal. I still don't know what caused it in the first place but I am no longer using wipes and am currently using Huggies. Pampers seems to have a scent.

Maybe I will try cloth. Wait until he starts fruits next week, then I'll probably have another problem with rashes because of the acidity, then he'll be teething next. Oh no!!
