I heard this technique in one of my child development courses (I am currently a Family Science major at Brigham Young University). If your child is waking up at a regular times through the night, set your alarm and wake the child 5 to 10 minutes before their regular waking time. After a week, move the time back five to ten minutes more, the next week move it back again. For some unknown reason this helps kids sleep through the night. It's worth a try!
