: Hello, can anyone here give me some advice on giving my baby water. My little girl is 3 weeks old and I am breast feeding her, she is doing well. I have heard that I can introduce water at a night feeding. Has anyone here heard of this, has anyone tried giving water to their baby. Please advise me. Thank you...eli
Hi,

I gave water to my babies between meals but only in hot weather. This was at family outdoor outings so they would not get dehydrated.I would only feed them an 1oz or 2 with alittle sugar mixed in.Ps I did not do this before 3 monthes of age,and be careful the water comes out fast.
