Hey my son is 3 and a half and i leave him in the bathroom alone to have a bath I just make sure the water isn't past his waist and he knows not to put his head under if I am not in the bathroom with him.I have been doing this since he was 3 and have had no accidents he also attended swimming lessons so knows how to float and blow bubbles in the water.
