: : I was just wondering when is it ok to start leaving children in the bathroom alone for bathtime? My daughter washes herself ,I only help with her hair.I think I would feel better about this if she was willing to take a shower. Please tell me at want age you started leaving your child alone.
: : Thank You

: Hey my son is 3 and a half and i leave him in the bathroom alone to have a bath I just make sure the water isn't past his waist and he knows not to put his head under if I am not in the bathroom with him.I have been doing this since he was 3 and have had no accidents he also attended swimming lessons so knows how to float and blow bubbles in the water.
: Good luck Cathy

I leave my 5 yr old daughter in the tub alone. I don't turn the radio on or vacuum on in the other room and etc, anything loud and I would not be able to hear her.She is VERY active and I always think if she bumped her head or something or was yelling for me I would not be able to hear her.I listen carefully and she loves the bath, she will stay in there sometimes 2 HOURS!! I can't imagine sitting in the bathroom with her the whole time.!!
