: Will is now 4months old and is continuing to spit-up after he eats each feeding.(until now he was solely breastfed but we are now having to supplement) it seems like whatever we do he spits-up. sometimes it is right after he eats and sometimes it could be as much as 2hrs after he's eaten - - sometimes it is just a little spittle and sometimes it looks like a couple of tbspns --- sometimes it is just the milk and sometimes it is digested milk (basically water with white flecks) -- -- sometimes it is just once and sometimes it could be a couple of times. we burp him several during his feedings (sometimes he burps and sometimes he doesn't) we have talked to his pediatrician about it to see if this is something more dangerous but she has told us not to really worry about it maybe he is just getting too full. My son did the same until he was about 5 or 6 mths old. He just ate to much. Within the first week he would take 6oz at a time, then spit some of it back up! Very messy! It does get better. Since you already talked to his Dr, I wouldn't worry to much, as long as he's growing and is healthy.

: is this something that will eventually go away? or do we need to be more vigilant with the dr.?
: thanks!!
