Kim is right Robin. Too much water given to a baby will cause water intoxication. It dilutes the sodium in the baby's bloodstream and can lead to seizures, coma and even death.
Unless you live in a hot climate, a baby does not need water. Breastmilk or formula is all your baby needs.
