sleep schedule

Leah is only a month old, but she seems to have a sleeping pattern already. maybe it's just me, but it seems to us that she likes to sleep all day, and then when my husband gets home at 2 or three in the morning, she likes to stay awake until about six or seven. in the end, we are very tired and just collapse into bed and don't get up until around two or three. is there a way i can get her to stay up during the day this early? it's very hard to entertain a one month old. any suggestions are welcome.
