Thanks for the ideas.

: This sometimes works with my son. His naps usually last an hour. If I want to stretch it out, the minute I hear a peep from the monitor I go in and give him a pacifier and he settles and will sleep another hour. I only use a pacifier to help him sleep.
: You said by the time you get to Hannah, she's already wide awake and won't settle back to sleep. You know her naps usually last about half an hour so try giving her the pacifier after about half an hour (you should see her starting to stir awake)and see if that will settle her back down.
: Also, about the rocking problem. It seems like she enjoys the feel of sleeping on someone's chest as she is being rocked. Have you tried putting her down to sleep on her tummy?? I'm just throwing some ideas out and I could be way off but I hope any of this helps. Good Luck!!!
: Sally
