I wouldn't use wipes because they just irritate and burn. I use wet soft papertowels not generic. At home I leave them without diaper when possible, do sitz/oatmeal bath, and keep protected with vaseline or desitin/butt balm, etc so the next time they poop/pee they have a barrier to help protect their skin.
