: : : hello everyone.
: : : i am 16 years old and just recently found out that i am pregnant by my partner of two years. i have told my mother and talked it over with my boyfriend and we think that its best to have a termination as i am half way through my 'A' levels and i wish to go to univercity to do a psycology course and go into a career. My problem is that i feel like i cant talk to my mom about whats happening inside of me as she wishes to just "let it be". i am about 6 weeks pregnant and my breasts are extreamly sore one more than the other, i find that even my top touching it is really painful and im wondering if this is right? should they be hurting this much and should one be hurting more than the other? i have also been suffering from mild period pains and im begining to feel extreamly tired one day but then the next id be buzzing around with alot of energy. nothing is consistant. My hormones are also pushing my boyfriend away as he feels that sometimes even if he breaths in the wrong direction i blow it out of proportion and start arguing..... what can i do to stop this happening and are my physical changes 'normal' please help!

: : Hi there,

: : I am British too but I now live in the US. I remember when I was taking my A-levels and being all stressed out so I know with the baby thing you must be even more stressed right now. Anyway, if you want to keep the baby, it wouldn't be difficult as doctors are free in the UK and so is the delivery. Also, you can find a free day care and still go to school and do everything you want and keep the baby. I had many friends who got pregnant early (16-17) keept the baby and are now doing well. If you need the goverment can also give you a house (it won't be the best house around) but it is free! Also in the UK you can get child support every month to help you with expenses. If you are set in having an abortion, there is not much I can say. Just letting you know that there are other options out there. Sally 2

: sally isnt that the truh in the uk they take careof u..my x hubby x wife had a nice flat huge ina great area as well,,,,,,i was in shock what the government does for its people there as opsed to hhere

Hi there robbin,

Yes you get what we call child support (money every week) to help with expenses. Young mothers also get a house if they wish and used furniture. She can also get day care for free and as far as medical, it is free in the UK to everyone. It is not the greatest medical care but she wouldn't have to pay for anything. There are also what we call charity shops where you can get used baby clothes for cheap.
