It dilutes the sodium in the baby's bloodstream and can lead to seizures, coma and even death. my sons doc said give water once a day2 ounces when born keeps thrush away and also cleans intestines out and s forth help for constipation..im not talking alot just 2 unces whenthe baby get older a bit more:)
