keeping 4mth asleep

I have a 4.5 mth old girl who can only nap for 20 minutes than wakes up. At night we put her down and she wakes up 1 hour to the minute screaming. It takes 2 hours to calm her, as she thrashes around in our arms. I cant find anything about this. Crying it out is not the answer right now as all she does is cry.
