: Does anyone recommend a specific stroller for rough terrain? My husband and I would like to bring our baby (due in May) for walks on a dirt park path and he disk golfs so he would be pushing the stroller over grass. Some strollers I've seen are listed below. I've noticed that some strollers accept the baby car seat/carriers, but others don't. Why do people have the strollers that accept these car seat/carriers, and is it important for me to buy a stroller that I can use with them? If you have any info on the above or if you've had good/bad luck with strollers on dirt paths or grass, let me know. We'd like to include the baby in outings that we typically enjoy. The best strollers for rocky/rough paths are those with the 3 big wheels. The strollers with the carseat attached are more for like going to the mall, shopping, or a stroll on a very even path! There are also baby packs that work great with a new baby, no jolsting (sp?). My babies would not stay in a stroller until they were older like 3 mths or so. I carried them in a front pack where ever I went, then when they got bigger and a strollers was not convenient, I got a baby back, for kids that could hold their heads up, up until 2 or 3 yrs old. Good luck. Just make sure that the stroller is designed for the type of stuff you do. The 3 wheeled ones are a bit more pricy but worth it!
