From what i have been told by my health nurse is SIDS is most common in babies that are exposed to second hand smoke,the states also show that 100% of the babies who die of sids and they do a otopsy on them they have smoke residue in there lungs.It is said to lay your baby on it's back when it's a newborn to sleep soit can breathe better,do not use bumper pads as air can't circulate properly and can cause SIDS.Thats all i know about it hope it helps.
