: Chantel, EMAIL ME at dechnith@hotmail.com.
: My daughter has Chronic Benign Neutropenia, Cyclic, for now.
: She's had it since 6 months old.
: : My 13 month old son has been neutropenic for at least four months now. He also is not gaining weight and mildy anemic. If anyone has had or knows anyone who has had similar experience I would love to hear about it. The doctors do not know the cause. (Neutropenia is when you have a lower than normal amount of neutrophils, which are the white blood cells that fight bacterial infection.) Thanks, Chantel cfpcfp@hotmail.com
Hi my name is Natasha and i am 18, i was 18 months old when i became ill but it wasnt until i was about 3 that i was diagnosed with chronic benign neutropenia. However i never seemed to grow out of mine, one doctor i went to at 13 said in a round about way that i was over prescribed medication as a baby of bactrim (a sulphur based drug). And so now i have an intolerance to sulphur in which it kills my white cells. I have had this blood disoredr for most of my lfe and nobody seems to know what it is or any information on it. So now i am doing research on this topic in my own time to find out more about it, as soon as i get some replies to my emails i will send them straight on to you. I would like to know more about your story if possible. Take care, Natasha Louise.
