I have 21-month old boy/girl twins and a 7-month old girl. Lately, I have been experiencing some behavior issues from the twins, mainly my son, in relation to the baby. Ryan has become exceptionally aggressive toward his younger sister and this refuses to cease, no matter what reprimands (time outs, etc) my husband or I give. Olivia, the other twin, will occasionally join in but I think only because she sees her brother acting this way (the partners in crime!). He is also exceptionally clingy lately and will get very upset at the drop of a hat! It seems to my husband and I that he is experiencing some "sibling jealousy" but we can't figure out why it is just starting now- Alexandra's seven months old already, not newborn, and we did not experience much of a behavior difference in either of the twins when she arrived. We are running out of options, we've tried ignoring it, we've tried time-outs, we've tried praising him for being nice to his sister. They are young, so I can't expect to be able to sit down and have a talk with him or anything either, so what will get through to him?? Any suggestions?
