This is just my own personal opinion, but I won't pierce my daughters ears until she is old enough to say that that is something she wants done & can take care of herself. I have seen many infants with pierced ears. My only concern would be if she is in childcare. I am an infant teacher and we have difficulties with pierced ears. Others are fascinated by them and try to pull them off or the one with them pulls them out & they try to eat them. I would keep them small-no hoops if this is the situation. Good luck with your decision.
