: Hi Yvette : If she's falling asleep sucking on a bottle with milk (or juice) there's still an increased risk of dental caries and ear infections, as the milk or juice coating her teeth and mouth creates a breeding ground for bacteria. That's not to say she will definitely develop dental caries or an ear infection, just that the risk is increased. : If she has become dependant on her bottle as a sleep association, she may not willingly give it up for a long, long time. A dependance on her bottle as a means to fall asleep would also mean that if she wakes during the night she will likely want a bottle then as well. : Rowena : No she does not sleep with it, she drinks her bottle then gets up and will play for a minute or 2, then goes to bed,, she uses a pacifer. That helps her sleep.
