I had my daughters ears pierced at 2 mos old. I have had no problems at all. They healed quickly and she has never touched them so far and she is 5 mos. old now. Yes, get safety backs so they stay on and do not jab her behind her ears. If you are going to have a baby's ears pierced I say, the sooner the better. There was a baby girl just before us that was 6 mos. old having hers done. She wiggled so much the lady messed up and made the first one very low. To compensate she made the second one too low as well. I HIGHLY recommend a place that will have 2 people do both ears at once. The baby's do not know what is about to happen the first time. Once they have the first ear done, they are upset and will not hold still for the second. Get them done by a place that has two ear piercing devices and have them done at the same moment. : I was wondering if anyone has gotten their baby's
