My daughter (now 19 months) did the exact same thing. My husband & I were besides ourselves. We tried all kinds of things, but what worked best for us was a book called Secrets of the Baby Whisperer that a friend gave us. This is not an advertisement, just what worked. Also, he may be going through a growth spurt.
