When my son was 1-2 months we was taking 4-5 ozs. He's now 10 months and takes 7-8 ozs. He will tell you when he's had enough. I was always taught better to heat less than more, since bottles are only good for 1 hour after heated, and you cant re-heat a bottle, So if your son wants more, just heat up another 1-2 oz at a time.
