At 7 months, he doesn't need to eat at 11pm, really, and he certainly doesn't need to eat an hour after that if he DOES eat at 11pm. I think at that age it's not unusual to have one feeding, though. Keep in mind I don't know what precisely you've done, but perhaps you need to try to push that 11pm feeding back a bit. Have you tried just soothing him instead of giving him the bottle? What have you done when you've tried to let him cry it out?
