My wife and I used a book that may be of use to you. Our local library carries it, and maybe yours does as well. It's called:

"Infant, Toddler Sleeping Through the Night" by Dr. Jodi Mindell.

The topics covered in this great book were very helpful for us. In fact, in a few cases we thought for sure this book wouldn't cover our specific problem, and it did! We ended up buying it rather than looking at the book every couple months at the library.

Additionally, I found the author's email address on the internet, and I wrote her a quick question. To my surprise, she responded back almost immediately! Of course, I gushed about how I loved her book in my email, so that probably had a bit to do with it.
