: At 7 months, he doesn't need to eat at 11pm, really, and he certainly doesn't need to eat an hour after that if he DOES eat at 11pm. I think at that age it's not unusual to have one feeding, though. Keep in mind I don't know what precisely you've done, but perhaps you need to try to push that 11pm feeding back a bit. Have you tried just soothing him instead of giving him the bottle? What have you done when you've tried to let him cry it out?

My son wakes up around 11 like clockwork. Yes I've tried just soothing him. It works only for a short while. He wakes up again in 15-20 mins. When I tried to let him cry it out, I just go into his room every 5-10 minutes, talk to him, sometimes pick him up and then put him down again and a couple of nights I let him cry for 20-25 minutes (which can seem for ever in the middle of the night). He cried so much that he choked and gagged and went short of breath. I tried it on 2-3 nights but haven't had the heart to try it again ever since.
