Question RE Avent bottles

I know some people here have mentioned that they use Avent bottles, so maybe someone can help me out. I'm new at this bottle stuff, and my baby only takes Avent. But we've noticed that they are very leaky. We've tried putting the top on tightly and loosely, and they leak either way. Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips? Thanks!
