I baby sit 3 little boys. Ages 5 1/2, 4, and 18 mo. The 4 year old was the youngest for a very long time as the youngest was an accident ("my perfect accident" mom says). He has recently started to go backwards. Crying for things, having tantrums, talking like a baby, and alltogether doing anything he can (eating in a high chair) to get attention.
The worst of all his tricks is crying whenever mom leaves for any reason. Mom goes to work Thursdays and I come over to watch them for a few hours until dad gets home. Every single time she leaves, mom gives hugs and kisses. The 4 year old always demands more hugs, more kisses, that he needs to tell mom something, he needs to show mom something, mom needs to get him a snack, mom needs to wipe his boogers, pretty much anything he can think of. He cries and wines for about half an hour. He'll throw himself on the floor and demands I get him up. He does his best to get outside and see where mom is. He demands I call her, or I drive him to her work. He'll say I should call my mom to drive us to his mom's work...
Does ANYONE have ANY suggestions about how I can get him to stop crying?
