Not stupid...we've all been there

I dressed my daughter pretty warmly for a long time because she was 6 weeks premature & I was worried about her body temp. I can still remember the night she lay in bed for over an hour, not crying but little whimpers every now & again. She was about 6 months old & was dressed in a footed, long-sleeved sleeper. It was one of the first nice days of the year so we had the windows open to let in some breeze. When we went & checked on her, she was soaked in sweat. We felt so horrible. We did better at dressing her after that.
