I'm sure being sick has something to do with. It also sounds like separation anxiety is beginning. My daughter didn't want anyone but me. Not even my husband. She would scream if he tried to put her to bed, dress her, change her diaper, etc. It was pretty frustrating, but only lasted for a month or so. She's definately over it now (20 months).
