: : Hi,thanks for responding to my concern about myDD nosebleeds. I just wondered if I could ask you some questions about your brother.Since your the only one to respond, Would he just get them all of a sudden? just watching t.v? Mackenzie just got another nosebleed about an hour ago and all we were doing was sitting on the floor playing blocks..I called a health # and they told me to make an appointment with her DR.thanks again>>I would rather be safe then sorry...from Melinda : Yes, his nosebleeds would just show up out of no where. Sometimes they would even show up when we were eating dinner. Sometimes he would even get them at school. My Mom would have to pack his nose with tissues, but it would bleed through. So he would just hang his head over the toilet until it stopped. Poor Guy. His doctors said, when he went recently that he had weak veins that were thin, close to the surface of the nostril, and ruptured very easily. Since his cauterization he has seen noticable improvement. He still sleeps with the vaporizor as a precaution. Have you discussed this with your doctor, if DD has weak veins she might be a little young to have them cauterized but it's worth asking about. Good Luck it has to be scary seeing your daughter bleeding but I am confident it's something that can be corrected.
