I think your son will be fine. I have taken my son into our hot tub since he was 3 months old and he has never had a problem and just loves the water! His doctor said that it was fine as long as we kept the temperature at or below his body temp. She also told me to take a q-tip and dry out his ears after we got out to prevent swimmers ear. I have done both of those things along with sunscreen when going to the outside public pool, and he has done excellent. Go swimming and have some fun!
