It's funny how we as parents worry so much about what the kiddo is going to do when we make a change, but I've found that the majority of the time they take it in stride or adjust somewhat quickly. My Hannah was rocked during her entire naptime for the first year of her life thanks for my stubborn MIL who does daycare. We finally put our foot down and said we were going to ease her into napping in her crib. We were so worried that it would lead to a screaming match, but she adjusted immediately. Kids are awfully resiliant, thank goodness.
