: My son has gone from sleeping all night approx 9-6, taking a bottle and going back to sleep until about 8, and taking a few 1/2 hour naps voluntarily to putting him to bed screaming at naptime and bedtime. Is this a 10 month old thing? He never has had a strict schedule and he used to do fine with it but now I feel like maybe it is because there isn't a strict schedule and is really craving one.

I think a schedule might work and maybe 1 2- to 3-hour nap would work instead of a few 1/2 hour naps.

I always put my babies down for a nap 4 hours after being awake. I fed them a good lunch right before their nap. I would put them to bed about 4 or 5 hours after waking up from their nap and would feed them a good dinner or bedtime snack right before bedtime.
