: Hi, : You're to funny, lol. I love to read your advice and thanks so much for it. I'm glad someone elses child has had both viruses...it was beginning to make me think I had some weird germs going on in my house or something - my son is not in daycare and he's with me most of the time, lol. I'm already a neurotic cleaner, and germaphobic (according to my husband anyway)!!! : I'm waiting to see what these bumps do. I'll keep you posted. : Thanks again, : : Anyway, My son had the roto-virus also. He got that at 8mos...It was absolutely terrifying! He wouldn't stop vommitting. Poor things...They really get it bad when they are so young. : : I would just continue to be persistant in getting the liquids in him...And you obviously know what to look for as far as dehydration goes. Don't stress too much over it. It is a very slow process to get through but you'll make it...With every day he should start showing a slight bit of improvement from this point on. : : The red bumps are probably the rash setting in, the rash is very common toward the middle-end of the virus. : : Good luck. : : Jennifer S. its funny now cause they say not to disinfect to much cause germs mutate from what they where to servive....so i take advice from my aunt who is near 80....and dont always wipe there ahnds every second and give them baths unless very dirty every other day..it lets there immune sytems get used to whats around them with out mehaving to disenfect things to the point of where u cant anymore....kindof like when u go into the hospital for a broken foot and they keep u and theplace is supposed to be so sterile yet u get sick...thats the reason over sterilization..can u believe that...when i heard that i was amazed...but it interesting to know...since my aunts advice my children have not gotten sick so much..i dont know if its luck or her advice just knocking on wood now i guess
