Hi Sandra,

I had the same problem and my ds refused everything. I don't know if you know Rownena but she gave me some great advice and it worked like a charm. It took awhile but I persevered and bit by bit I got him to take water out of the NUK nipple. This is the only nipple that he would take. I started by putting it in his mouth and pressing on the bulb part. This allowed a bit of water to squirt in his mouth. He refused at first and did cry a bit but slowly but surely he started to suck. Don't get me wrong it is fairly frustrating and can take a long time but it did work. The nuk nipple that he used was the clear ones, I found that even the rubber (brown) nuk nipple he refused, I think this is because the rubber ones have a bit of a rubber taste to them whereas the clear ones don't (i think silicone? - but they are clear)

Hope you have some success.

Lisa S
