Well - after a lot of thought, I went along with my friend with her baby and we both had our daughters' ears pierced on Saturday 2nd August. Everything went fine for both girls - only a moments cry and then they seemed not to notice that they were wearing a little gold stud in each ear. We went to see both sets of parents yesterday and there was less criticism than I expected, probably because it is so much more popular nowadays for girls to have their ears pierced when they are babies. : Thanks for all your help. If any moms are thinking of having their baby daughters ears pierced but are not sure about it, my advice would be to go ahead. It really does look so sweet and I think I will be pleased I did not wait until Emma got any older and the procedure can be more difficult. : Have any other moms had their baby's ears pierced recently ? I got my daughter's ear's done when she turned one, it was alful screaming she would not stop. I think i wait to long.
