: Charlie had a bad cold and cough about three weeks ago. I took him to the drs and they gave him some medicine. He seemed to improve. In the last week though he's been coughing at night. He doesn't seem to be sick but has this hacking cough. He's about to cut his top teeth and at first I thought that it was just excess drool that went down the wrong pipe, so to speak. But I'm not sure if it could be something else. What could it be? My son did the same thing... I put the humidifier in his room and kept him propped up on a pillow... after 3 nights he did a lot better.
