A baptism can be done at any time but the average (at least in my church) seems to be around 4-8 weeks old. My advice is to do it when you feel absolutely comfortable. Don't feel like you have to rush it if you don't want to. Its a special time so make sure you enjoy it too. For me, I wanted to settle into my routine a bit with Matthew and get to know him. I didn't want to have the christening when I was still going through the sleep deprivation so we waited 8 weeks. I was then able to plan and enjoy the special occasion.

Whatever you decide I'm sure will be wonderful. Good luck on the upcoming birth, take good care of yourself, get lots of rest.
