On the nursing.. The first 6-8 weeks can be painful. I know I was nursing my baby and I can remember holding on the couch at the beginin of each seccion wanting to scream because it hurts sooo bad. I would talk to someone at the WIC office or a Lactation consultant. Also a book I would reccomend is the THe Book of nursing I think it is called by Dr Sears. It is by far the best on the market. When I find out a friend of mine is having a baby and plan on nursing I usually buy it for them because I believe in it sooo much..
On the infant outing I would wait until you are ready. I went to church the next day after we got out but I felt good. I however didnt let anyone but DH aunt hold him because of him being soo tiny. Email me any time at gingerb1@HotPop.com
