No, I didn't read your post and wasn't targeting you. I've read it now. I just made the statement cause I've never liked that phrase. Yes, I agree there are germs in the house period and more can be brought home, that's why handwashing is important. You can't prevent being exposed to germs-impossible unless your're in a bubble. I also agree too with what you said about taking them out in all seasons-even winter and being cooped up with the germs is not good and that how you're dressed doesn't depict if you'll get sick or not. You can go out with wet hair and no jacket and that doesn't mean you'll get sick, but if you breathe in a cold germ then you could get a cold.
I didn't mean to make you feel like an idiot. You made some really great points in your message that I do agree with. She just said something about being worried her child would get sick, and that phrase, which I just never liked, came straight to mind so I wrote my thoughts, which aren't the same as most.
