Prescription ? for Elizabeth or anyone..

Since you know a bit about medical stuff I thought I could ask you this. Do you know anything about the presc. Elidel-for eczema. It was recently prescribed to my dd, but not by her reg. ped. so I have some concerns. It says on everything I've read, not recommended for children under age 2, or don't use on children under 2. My dd is only 13 mos. Should I be concerned about using it on her? If so do you know the reason why? Thanks for any info provided.
