: Thanks Elizabeth. I was worried he'd grind his little teeth to stumps before his first birthday. I've been peeping in now and then but have had a low tolerance to the nonsense that happens here. Plus I've been working from home and it makes for a very hectic day. I know that you work from home, can you offer any advice on how to make the most of my time. I have trouble dividing home and work. I feel that since I'm home all day that everything should be spotless and I should have a gourmet meal on the table every night. But I should be working at least five hours a day to keep the books current. I'm having trouble keeping everything separate and I can't seem to get anything done. How do you do it?

: Good to hear from you.

: Sue

Thanks Sue. That is great that you are working at home. I know it can be difficult but try not to be so hard on yourself. Try to make a schedule. At first I felt like I could not get anything done but sat down one day and actually made a schedule of how long it takes me to do things.

I only work when my babies are sleeping. I wake up early and work for a couple of hours and for 1 hour I will clean up a bit, allow a little free time, and make breakfast before they wake up; I work when they nap and allow 1 hour for cooking and a little bit of cleaning in between: and work again sometimes when they go to sleep at night and pick up a little around the house.

My husband does help me with the house which can be very helpful. One day out of the week, I will leave the house to my mom's or somewhere and he will clean the restrooms, living room, dust and vacuum, etc. I usually wash clothes, clean up the kitchen, and cook. I don't do anything but spend time with my kids when they are awake. Is your job at home flexible? I work part-time about 4 to 5 hours a day.

My friend also does what I do and has a 1-year-old and 4-year-old but she works 8 hours a day and I have asked her how she does it. She usually works in her office and just ignores the kids all day and doesn't feed them anything healthy which I would not do.

Don't worry Sue. It will get easier.
