Hi Nicole,

I have already given my son Prevnar and Menjugate. I know OHIP doesn't cover them, but the benefits far outweigh the costs or side effects. Luckily for me too, my husband's drug plan picked up the tab. I spoke to a friend of ours who is a doctor and he said that the only reason these vaccinations have not been made mandatory under OHIP is because of their high costs. He strongly recommended giving them.
